I've been a “motorphile” from an early age. The powerful engine sound has always been music to my ears, the smell of fuel, lubricants and old leather seats my favorite perfume. I used to ride my motorcycle rather sportily (up to 30,000 km per year, sometimes even in winter), then took a longer break (in favor of my job and family). Now I no longer get on my bike to pump adrenaline, but to calm down. To indulge in my own personal “asphalt meditation”. What makes me particularly happy is that my wife has also been indulging in this as a self-driver for a few years now. This connects us and makes for wonderful shared experiences.
