What does that mean in concrete terms?
If you use a CarPlay-capable display on your motorcycle or in your car, you can operate Kurviger conveniently from it. As soon as the iPhone is connected, your route appears on the large screen.
The display automatically switches to the CarPlay screen as soon as a connection is established. The route is no longer displayed on the iPhone itself during this time – this is a technical limitation of CarPlay that applies to all apps.
Ideal for motorcycles with CarPlay solution
This is a great solution, especially for touring drivers with the appropriate equipment – such as CarPlay displays or CarPlay solutions installed directly in the vehicle.
More than just CarPlay – what else has changed
With the same update, we have also revised the GPX import. From now on, several GPX files can be imported at the same time, which makes it easier to exchange tours with friends or to insert routes from other planning tools (for example, better Garmin support).
We have also extended the limit for recordings in the Kurviger Cloud: up to 1,000 route recordings can now be saved and managed. This makes it easier for you to permanently save even more extensive tour collections.
How do I get CarPlay in Kurviger?
Apple CarPlay is available in the Kurviger app from version 3.5.7 for iOS. If you would like more information about the changes and optimizations to the Kurviger app, you are welcome to take a look at the Kurviger changelog. All changes are listed there in detail for each update. This way you will always be up to date.
