With update 3.0.6 of the Kurviger app, a number of improvements have been implemented and frequently requested functions have been added. So that you can understand the changes, we would like to give you a short summary of the most important adjustments in this article, as we did in the last blog post on the new navigation UI.
Support for external input devices
Support for external input devices, such as WunderLINQ, Carpe Iter and others, was requested by many in the Kurviger community. For this reason, this is exactly what the new Kurviger update makes possible. The controls are as follows:
- Arrow buttons or plus and minus buttons for the zoom function
- Enter button to reactivate the autozoom
Zoom improvement
We have optimized the zoom behavior for turns and especially for traffic circles.
Waypoint numbers on the map
From now on, waypoint numbers will be displayed on the map during navigation.
Optimization of planning
But the new update not only offers some optimizations in the area of navigation. Planning has also been improved in many areas. For example, full-screen planning has been adjusted so that the app remains permanently in full screen during planning. Routes you have deleted are no longer loaded automatically and waypoints now have their own widget. In addition, the last overlay is automatically loaded in the same way as the last route.
