Posted by We are pleased to introduce you to the improvements of version 3.4.1 and the previous update 3.4.0! These updates bring lots of improvements and new features that will make your route planning and navigation even smoother and more user-friendly.
Please note: We have released our iOS app with the new version. This also means the end of the iOS BETA phase. But the development does not end here, of course. We will continue to introduce new features on a regular basis. We are aware that the Android app is still slightly ahead of the iOS version, but we are working hard to bring the range of functions of the iOS app up to the same level as quickly as possible.
In this blog post, we would like to present the latest improvements to the Kurviger app and provide you with a compact overview of all the changes, adjustments and new features.
Route planning
Minor redesign of the “Search”: A minor redesign was carried out to adapt the user interface to the rest of the app.
Tourer and Tourer+ (iOS): Tourer and Tourer+ are required in the app for the premium functions. If you want to use one of the premium functions, you need a Tourer or Tourer+ subscription.
Split routes (iOS): Splitting the route now works correctly on the iPad.
Navigation
Show route recording (iOS): Navigation on iOS now shows the route recording directly on the map.
Show curvy routes (iOS): All curvy routes are displayed on the map if this option is selected in route planning.
Tracking of the navigation arrow reduced (iOS): The tracking of the navigation arrow has been reduced to enable more precise navigation.
Improved number formatting (iOS): The number formatting for distances, times and other values has been improved to increase readability and accuracy.
Color adjustment of the points on the map (iOS): The color of the points on the map is now used as specified in the overlay manager.
Kurviger available for iOS!
The absolute highlight of this update is, of course, that the Kurviger app is now finally available for iOS and the beta phase has ended. The app is now officially available in the App Store. iPhone users can now enjoy the full functionality of the Kurviger app and benefit from precise motorcycle route planning and navigation.
