Kurviger App 1.9 now with route recording

Posted by

With update 1.9 of the Kurviger app, a much-requested function has been added: route recording. This allows you to easily save the routes you have ridden in a GPX file. This way you can easily track your rides and ride one or two beautiful routes again.

GPX tracking or route recording can be started automatically when you start navigation, so you never forget to switch on tracking again. If you stop or end navigation, tracking is automatically paused. This means that you don’t unnecessarily track your stay at the next biker meeting. Of course, there are also all the important settings for recording such as recording frequency, minimum distance between two points, GPS accuracy or minimum speed. You can also find more detailed information on route recording in our documentation.

The Kurviger app now uses an improved location service, which should display the location even more accurately and reduce battery consumption. The crosshair mode has been further improved, making the crosshairs more visible. The waypoint and bookmark list has been revised.

As always, the discussion about the new version takes place in our forum. You can find the complete change history here.
