The route is planned, the anticipation of the next tour is great and suddenly you are faced with a closed road. Roadworks, accidents or last-minute closures can unexpectedly interrupt even the most beautiful motorcycle tour.
There is now a new function in Kurviger for precisely this purpose! 🚀
🚧 See current closures directly on the map
Kurviger now shows you current road closures along your route directly on the map. This means you can see which roads are currently closed when planning your route and can adjust your tour accordingly. The function is now available for Kurviger Tourer and Tourer+ – on the website and now also directly in the Kurviger app for our BETA users. 🚀📱
This means that even recalculations during navigation will automatically bypass current blocks (if avoidance is activated). 🔥
This is particularly helpful for:
- Pass roads with temporary closures
- Roadworks on popular motorcycle routes
- Short-term traffic obstructions
- seasonal or weather-related closures
💡 New avoidance option: Automatically plan around lockdowns
The new avoidance function is even more practical. If you activate this option, Kurviger will automatically plan your route around current road closures. This means you no longer have to search for alternative roads yourself or spontaneously reschedule your route en route.
📱 Now available in the Kurviger app (for BETA users)
The function is now available for Tourer & Tourer+ – on the website and now also directly in the Kurviger app for our BETA users 🚀📱
