Motorradtouren Sauerland
The Sauerland, the land of a thousand mountains, is a motorcycling region in North Rhine-Westphalia. The many rivers, lakes and mountains make the Sauerland a beautiful place to visit. The third-highest point of the Rothaargebirge, the Kahle Asten at 841m, is located in the Sauerland and offers a great view of the surrounding landscape.
The Sauerland is not only criss-crossed by numerous winding country roads and many rivers, but also by many castles and palaces that can be perfectly integrated into a motorcycle tour. Popular castles and palaces in the Sauerland include Hovestadt Castle, Schnellenberg Castle and Arnsberg Castle. The largest towns are Iserlohn, Arnsberg and Lüdenscheid.
