Motorradtouren Swabian Forest

The Swabian Forest is located in Baden-Württemberg, north of the Rems Valley, in the south of Germany. Well-known biker meeting points include the meeting point at Ebnisee and the Löwensteiner Platte. A well-known route in the Swabian Forest is the “Idyllic Road” vacation route. The Swabian Forest includes the Welzheim Forest and the Löwenstein Mountains. The Swabian Forest is particularly impressive with its many small side roads and idyllic valleys.

The Limes used to run through the Swabian Forest. Today, remains from the Roman era can still be found in several places in the Swabian Forest. The eastern fort in Welzheim is particularly well known.

Many of the small roads in the Swabian Forest are closed to cars and motorcycles on Sundays, sometimes even on Saturdays. It is therefore advisable to do a quick check before setting off. During the week, you can expect very little traffic away from the main routes.
